3rd Grade Awards
3rd grade had their awards ceremony today. This is Ethan with his BFFs Emily and Pamela.
Look...Pamela really does own a dress. She wore it beautifully today and didn't even melt.

We are at the 2 day countdown! The boys couldn't be more ready.

1st Grade Awards
Today Will and Noah had their 1st grade awards ceremony. They got various awards for their 1st grade accomplishments. Here they are just before taking the stage.
Noah with his teacher, Mrs. Nelson, just after receiving his awards.
Will getting his award from his principal, Mrs. Travis.
They looked so cute. After the awards, Will went to art and his tooth fell out. I think Noah was jealous of the blood show that Will provided and wanted to one up him. Here is how he did it...
This was taken after I had cleaned him up TWICE!
It was actually just a little cut, but it sure supplied us with a lot of blood!

Beach Day
We went to the beach for a couple hours this morning. The weather was perfect today. It was nice and warm with very little humidity! Most of these pictures didn't turn out great. It was very sunny and my camera was very dirty!
Shark patrol! (Wish I were kidding, but we do live in the shark bite capital of the world.)
A crab that the boys caught.
Ethan helping out with the kite tails.
It wasn't quite windy enough to keep the kite up for any length of time.
Tie-dyed feet at the beach.

The engineers get to work. They ended up building a water slide that dumped their guys into the tide pool.
Chris and Ethan playing some soccer.
Ethan taking a break from soccer.
Noah and Will working on their slide.

Soccer!
And, some wave riding...

Tie-Dye Extravaganza
5th grade tie-dyes every year as part of their Science Day. They gave the extra dye to us and we went crazy. We were conservative on Thursday at school and dyed on shirt each. On Friday, I brought home all the extra stuff and we started all over again. This time, we had a bit more dying to do! We packed up the stuff and headed over to the Eagney's to dye there. Sam and Amy came over and the fun (chaos) began.
Here Ethan dyes something! Looks like underwear to me. No more white underwear at our house! I bought a couple packs for the boys on Friday and they are all tie-dyed now!
Chris was jealous of the shirts we made at school on Thursday. Here he dyes one for himself.
The buckets of stuff!
Gloved and ready to go!

This is Sam and Melissa at school on Friday. Not only are they trying to bring tie-dye back, they are also running a campaign to bring back straw hats!

Sammie and Hanah's 8th Birthday Party
Today Sammie and Hanah had their 8th birthday party. They shared a party last year as well. The kids had such a blast! Sammie has a trampoline, pool, playhouse, and zip line to keep the kids busy.
Here I think Ethan is playing lifeguard! Because of the rain and cloudy weather, the pool was FREEZING!
Dylan, Hanah's dad, always entertains the kids!
Cutie pie Josiah snuggles with him mama! He was partied out!
Will ate zero real food at the party, but quickly polished off a cupcake!
Hanah opening presents.
Miss Sammie opening presents. Sammie recently changed the spelling of her name from Sammy to Sammie! I haven't gotten used to the new spelling yet!
Today was the first day the sun came out in quite a while. Thankfully, it barely rained during the party.
Ethan is totally bummed. He only had one field trip planned for the entire school year and it got canceled. The Museum of Arts and Science flooded and is closed until Thursday. Ethan's field trip was supposed to be on Tuesday :o(
Tomorrow we will be having a cookout like most of America. After that, we tackle the last nine days of school! We are excited to have my mom, sister, Alina, and Aidan coming the day after we finish school. I'm sure the cousins will have a blast together. They definitely don't see each other often enough so we'll have to party up during their visit!

Night of the Arts
Tonight was the annual Night of the Arts at school. Mrs. Fernandez, Mrs. Jones, and Ms. Kirn did an awesome job getting it all together!

Noah showing off his writing piece.
Beware of leprechauns named Ethan!
Ethan's art.
Will's art. Will's is titled, "Mom and Dad in Fall." Anyone else think I look like a man? And look...Chris has hair!
Noah's art.
The kids checking out just a small section of the art. Mrs. Fernandez displays an art piece from every single kid at the school! It is amazing how awesome the cafetorium (not kidding, that is what it is called) looks!

Party Day!
Today we were partying it up! We started the day by going store to store to find a Webkinz Jr. for Sophia. We finally found one! At least we were walking along Flagler Avenue so we had a nice view and stroll from store to store. The beach was nice, but hot!
Sophia's party started at 4:00. She had a pool party at Bobbie's. They had a lot of fun with all the kids, and there were a lot of them!
Sophia was happy with her new DS.
Before Sophia's party, we helped Josiah celebrate his FIRST birthday! He had a monkey theme so all the kids got monkey shirts! They all looked really cute.
Here is the adorable birthday boy! Seriously, how cute is he????
Sam went all out for his first birthday! She had lots of cute activities for the kids to do. Sadly, we didn't get to stay long since Miss Sophia's party was getting ready to start.
I think all of the kids are tired. They are currently watching Jonas, but I think they may crash shortly after.

Inside T-Rex
These are a couple of videos from inside T-Rex. Chris took some pictures as well, but we all know how that goes! It is owned by the same company that owns Rainforest Cafe. They are very similar, but T-Rex is just a bit cooler. Okay...a lot cooler!
Downtown Disney
We took the boys to T-Rex at Downtown Disney for continuing to do so well on their report cards. When we met Gina, Leigha, and Aiden there during spring break, it was way too busy to even attempt to eat there or go to Build-A-Dino. We got there around 3:00, had no wait to eat, and strolled stress free through the non-packed Downtown Disney! The kids enjoyed it more than I even thought they would so all and all it was a great day!

Emma and Noah getting attacked by pirates! Call in the Navy!!!
Noah getting his heart ready for his dinosaur. Just after he rubbed it on his head to give his dino wisdom, the lady had him squeeze it in his hand and make a wish. He shut his eyes so tight and made the longest wish. We were cracking up. He must be wishing for something good!
Will putting the heart into his dinosaur.
They have a fossil digging area like the Animal Kingdom.
Will and I sitting under the enormous octopus! Our table was a big round booth with a gigantic octopus over our heads and a robotic dinosaur behind us! It was pretty awesome!
