I just had to tell this story before I went to bed, because I have been laughing about it all day. Once it happened, I immediately thought of all the dumb e-mails I receive on a daily basis where some person that I don't know tells of some funny story about how their child did this or did that. Usually, I am like, "Oh yeah, whatever. People just make that stuff up!"
This morning right after Jen woke up, I was telling the boys that they had to be good all day long because of Mother's Day. I told them, "It's called Mother's Day for a reason. You have to be extra nice to your mother on Mother's Day. It's not called Father's Day, is it? And it's not called Son Day, is it?" Immediately all three of them picked up on my oversight, and quickly corrected me. "Uh...actually...today is Sunday Daddy!"
Anyway, although it does sound like some stupid, made-up anecdote to be passed around in e-mails to prove how cute kids are, I can verify that this one is in fact true.

What Chris forgot to mention is that not only did they pick up on his oversight, they took full advantage of it. They ran around the living room screaming, "It's Sunday!" Then they started saying all the things that they wanted to so for "Son Day."
I checked Snopes and Urban legends, and it appears this one is in fact, true.
