Saturday Fun

Today we met up with a bunch of friends at the DeLeon Springs State Park. Donna arranged a big cook-out and we had loads of fun. We didn't take many pictures because we were too busy swimming and eating!

This is the first time we have been to DeLeon Springs. We usually go to Blue Springs to see the manatees. We decided that this was such a success that we were going to take the kids swimming at Blue Springs next. The water is only 72 degrees year round so I didn't think the boys would get in. For those that know me well, I'm amazed with myself, because I actually got in as well!Here is Andy under water. Since so many people were swimming, the spring was a bit murky. I think Blue Springs stays a little more clear since you can swim the entire spring.

Tonight, Liz, Colin, and Caroline arrive. We were hoping to see the shuttle launch, but it has already been scrubbed for the day. Hopefully we'll be able to go tomorrow evening to see it.
