It's no mystery that Jen is much better about posting on our blog than I am. With the popularity of Facebook though (who isn't on there, right?!?), the blog has been an afterthought. I don't do much of either, but Jen loves how easy and interactive Facebook is. There are still people out there that actually read this that aren't on Facebook though, so we needed to do something.
Fear not, Facebook haters. There is a new breath of life in our blog in the form of mobile posts. Today, I set up our phones to be able to upload directly through text messages and e-mails. In fact, this and the previous two posts were done through e-mails to Blogger. I know, we are a little late to the game. Better late than never though, right? It is much easier to just send a text message or e-mail and have it post a comment to our blog automatically.
Look for more frequent posts from the both of us from here on out. Now hopefully they will be as interesting as they are frequent, LOL!

I feel your blogging pain. I guess I blog now more as a way to keep a written record of our activities as I am pretty sure all of the stuff on facebook won't be around as long. I think only 3 or 4 people read our blog now, and that is fine, as the kids like to go back and look at old posts occasionally and see what they were up to a year ago. Anyway, how do you blog mobilely?
Sorry, had to delete a duplicate entry. Not sure why it appeared twice.
I agree with you 100%. Facebook to me is more of a fad, whereas a blog is (sort of) yours and you control what happens with it. We also enjoy going back in time and looking at pictures and posts. It's a fun family activity kind of like looking at slides was for us when we were younger.
To set up mobile posts:
Login to Blogger > Settings > E-Mail & Mobile > Add Mobile Device. From there, just follow the directions. You can set up three different ways - SMS, MMS, and E-Mail. My favorite of the three is e-mail because there is no picture size limit like with a text, the subject of the e-mail is the title of the post, and the body of the e-mail is the body of the post.
Take care and hope this helps.
Thanks, am going to try it.
