This morning we went to the beach for a bit. It was already hot when we got there! We left at 11:30 and it was already 95 degrees! No worries, we stopped at 7-Eleven and got
Laffy Taffy Blue Vanilla
Slurpees. They spent most of the 2 hours that we were there in the water.
They found the only shady spot on the beach and set up shop there for when they left the water to play in the sand.
Will and Noah hung out in the chair with their feet in the water. At one point a bird going after some fish in the shallow water started walking right up to them. They quickly put their feet up and watched the bird.
After lunch we perfected our ice cream recipe. It was PERFECT! We reduced the amount of cream it called for as well as the amount of sugar. Now we can just experiment with our add in ingredients.
